For the year’s ELEAGUE Major event in Boston, Gen City Labs was tasked with creating two digital interactive experiences for CS:GO fans.

First, GCL created ‘In the Game’. Using background removal, multiple guests could interact with iconic static environments from CS:GO, acting out entertaining scenes and vignettes with digital props, easter eggs, and sound effects. Guests were given different head gear and could throw grenades and ‘tag’ graffiti within each scene. The experience was streamed to a live Twitch feed allowing those not at the event to watch the fun.

‘Poster Child’ was the second experience which allowed guests to make their own custom poster to commemorate the event. After taking a photo, guests could select different stylized CS:GO themes and personalize their poster with logos of their favorite teams. The ‘posters’ were then printed as 4”x6” takeaways and worn as badges of honor during the event. They were also instantly shared w the guest via email who could then share them on social media.
