A gesture-controlled running game for Reebok’s retail stores.
Infinite Runner-Style Gesture Game
Social Media Sharable Photo Opp
To help launch their ZQuick line of shoes, Reebok asked LeadDog and Gen City Labs to create an ‘Unnaturally Quick’ interactive consumer environment for their retail stores. They wanted to show off the speed and agility that the shoe provides, and to do it in an urban, parkour-like experience. GCL built out an ‘infinite runner’ style game that allowed participants to control a runner through a sleek city setting. Their gestures would control the experience, as users would jump and lean around obstacles in order to go the furthest distance in a set amount of time. At the end of the experience, a photo was taken to share on social media.
Gen City Labs implemented the UI Design and Technology Integration on this project.
